Use approximately 1 teaspoon of agar agar powder per cup of liquid for a firm set. Add the powder to cold liquid and stir to ensure it dissolves evenly and doesn't clump. Allow it to hydrate for a few minutes to activate its gelling properties. 
2. Heat and Boil:
Bring the liquid to a boil over medium heat. 
3. Simmer and Activate:
Once boiling, simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly, until the agar agar is fully dissolved and the liquid is slightly thickened. This activates the gelling process. 
4. Cool and Use:
Once the agar agar has dissolved and the liquid is slightly thickened, remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Add the cooled, activated agar agar mixture to your recipe and transfer to serving dishes or molds. 
5. Chill and Set:
Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 1-4 hours, or until fully set.
